What I do isn’t a preset.
It’s not a plug and play tutorial.
It’s a style born from years of refinement, emotion, and intentional storytelling, and it didn’t come from anyone else’s workshop or course.
My work blends painterly fine art with editorial lifestyle storytelling.
I focus on depth, emotion, tone sculpting, and light that feels alive. Each image is edited by hand, not batch processed, not preset reliant, and crafted to feel like a memory more than a moment.
My signature style is:
- Glowing skin without artificial blur
- Matte tones that still have dimension
- Curves used like brushstrokes
- Backgrounds that feel cinematic but grounded
- Colour palettes drawn from emotion
Why a Tutorial Won’t Replicate It
You could learn the tools — all the layers, and the dodging and burning.
But my style is more than steps. It’s built from vision and voice. That’s why no tutorial will recreate it exactly.
Because it’s not just about knowing how to use Photoshop, creating contrast or warmth, or lifting shadows and toning highlights
It’s about knowing where and why, and making every adjustment serve a feeling.
What It Takes to Edit Like Me
If you're wondering what's behind the look, here’s a glimpse:
- I shoot intentionally underexposed to protect my skies
- I do most of my sculpting with curves, brushes, and gradient maps
- I apply light and tone by hand to evoke depth and softness
- I never use skin softening plugins or background blur tools
- I design custom tones for different lighting scenarios (golden hour, cloudy, backlit, indoor)
This isn’t a formula. It’s a feeling-driven framework, and it evolves with every session.
